Fling Together Collective is 501(c)3 non-profit organization established in 2023. The Fling Together initiative, however, was founded in 2020 with a heartfelt mission: to bridge the gap and maintain the bonds within the global highland dance community during the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic. As we move forward, we remain dedicated to upholding the values that sparked the inception of our non-profit – inclusivity, camaraderie, and a steadfast passion for highland dance. Join us as we continue to celebrate the story of our global highland dance family, forging connections that transcend borders.
Your donation will help us achieve our mission of establishing and maintaining the Fling Together Scholarship and Development Programs plus support initiatives that have a positive impact in our community. We'll be able to :
- Support dancers traveling to participate in tattoos and professional highland dance opportunities. Our goal is to be able to offer 2 scholarships: 1 for a US based dancer traveling internationally & 1 for an international dancer traveling to the US.
- Support US dancers looking to develop their performance skills and learn more about performance opportunities via the Fling Together Development Program which is designed to help US based dancers achieve their performance based highland dance goals while connecting them with performance opportunities and mentors.
- Continue to provide low cost virtual workshops that allow dancers to interact with their peers from around the globe while providing an educational experience.
- Provide financial assistance to initiatives that have a positive impact in our highland community.
